Miss Charlene grew up at North Shore Dance Academy, where she started dancing at age 3. Her love of dance sparked thanks to her dedicated teachers; Miss Tammy, Miss Stacie, Miss Melissa and Miss Lisa! At NSDA, Miss Charlene attended regional conventions and competitions. Miss Charlene was also a member of the Melrose Youth Ballet for 8 years, where she performed annually, in their production of “The Nutcracker.” After graduating from Salem State University in 2015, Miss Charlene returned as faculty.
At Salem State, Miss Charlene was an active member and choreographer of the Repertory Dance Theater for four years. She assisted in production of bi-annual, student run shows on campus. Miss Charlene now teaches tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical to all ages of dancers. Miss Charlene is so happy to be back home, at NSDA, sharing her love of dance with her students, as she watches them grow into strong, talent dancers. Outside of the studio, Miss Charlene works as a registered nurse at Tufts Medical Center, in Boston, caring for new moms and babies.
